We’re going to make a big official post tomorrow, but Scott and I have a new joint store! More details soon, but check out the new source for PvP and Starslip Crisis, as well as official Halfpixel stuff!

The shirts don’t say what size they are (unless they do and I missed it)

Is this store still done through ThinkGeek or is this independent? The reason I ask is that ThinkGeek had insane shipping costs to Canada (somewhere around 50-70 dollars for anything you order) which was way overboard. I would love to own some halfpixel swag if the shipping rates are reasonable…

30,000% satisfied, huh? Will Scott be tossing custom art stuff on there too? Perhaps a “combo” with both comics on one page?

Store looks great, can’t wait to see it expand.

It’s not ThinkGeek anymore. We’re taking all our stuff in-house.

This is off topic and probably explained elsewhere, but I just had this unbearable urge to know the answer:

Is “halfpixel” pronounced the way that seems obvious in America (”half pixel”) or is it pronounced like the British pronounce “halfpenny” (”hay-penny”)? I just really need to know, because until I do, my mind will keep calling it “haypixel”.

That’s awesome. I can’t speak for Kris but here is my answer.

    Halfpixel America is pronounced (half-pixel).
    Halfpixel Briton is pronounced (hay-pixel.”

Here in Australia I like to pronounce it (crikey-half-bloody-pixel-mate).
Linguistics aside: Kris has previously admitted that he makes a loss on shipping when he sends stuff here. Would you prefer if we ordered several products at once or does it make no difference?

Thanks for the info. I’m completely fine with reasonable shipping costs, don’t get me wrong on that. Whatever it costs to ship, that’s totally fine. I just found ThinkGeek to seriously overcharge shipping for some reason, I don’t know why…

Usually shipping to Canada runs anywhere from about 7-15 bucks, depending on how big it is and the shipping method. That’s fine with me. 50-75 bucks was way over the top…

Anyway, congrats guys on the new store, I’ll be placing an order soon :)

I’d hate to presume that everything’s autographed, so is there at least some way that I could request in my order to get TJATAW signed? Angela or Erica’s signatures would be good enough, but if you could even get Kirby to take a piss on the book, I”d be happy!

YAY! now I just need to get some more money and then I will have a spending spree!

The store looks great in it’s simplicity. Awesome job Kris!

Suggestion: A ‘Zap It Up’ t-shirt would boost ‘Apparel’ by 1000 fold… at least.

Lovin’ the store, I’m excited about Kris’s music!

Also: I would definitely buy a ‘Zap It Up’ shirt.

There’s no option for selecting T-shirt sizes with the Starter Packs. I’m sitting here with my credit card, ready to order, but I can’t select my T-shirt size.

Got something to say?
